Give Time and Volunteer

Volunteers make a difference! The success of the Sandler Center is in part due to the volunteers who give their time and talent. These individuals often help direct and greet guests during performances. Without them, performances would not run as effectively and smoothly!

Some of our volunteers have completed training put on by the Foundation in order to become Volunteer Ambassadors. Our ambassadors have devoted their time to gain a special and unique understanding of the programs and impact of the Sandler Center Foundation. Their expertise is often called upon for receptions and other events held by the Sandler Center and Foundation.

The camaraderie between the volunteers is undeniable and many volunteers have formed friendships that are built to last. For the 2017-2018 season, did you know that…

  • There were 218 active volunteers.
  • Volunteers worked a total of 21,469.5 hours.
  • The value of hours worked was $528,747.87.

Many thanks to our wonderful Volunteer Ambassadors for the 2018-219 season.

Every student was engaged, no one had to leave. The students communicated, each in their own way, how much they enjoyed the show. We are so grateful for this opportunity and we thank the Sandler Center for their incredible attention to detail for our staff and students Teacher

Just wanted to let you know that our students from Bayside Sixth Grade Campus loved the show!  The dancers were amazing, the staff that greeted us at the door and helped escort us to our seats were so pleasant, and the overall experience was positive! Thank you so very much for everything! Special Education Teacher
